I have a week that has opened up in February and was hoping to get some fishing in. I have never been fishing in February out of the A.B. / Morehead area and was curious what might be biting.
I know it largely depends on water temp but is it a possibility that the BFT's still be around in February?

Last year the bite was still on in February, You should go to the OIFC website and look at 2006 archives, Capt. Brant gives a daily or weekly report, depending on how busy he is. For the whole tuna season. You can study 06 and 05 and get a real feel for the fishing options over the winter months. ~JJ~

Bottom fishing is pretty good at that time of the year. Love some black sea bass!
