Does a nice job on the canvas.....I would not let anyone in that shop near my boat
with a welder.....The Hack Job ON MY BOAT WAS SOME OF THE WORST WELDING I
HAVE EVER SEEN (I sold welding equipment for 15 years).

The did the "T" top on a 25 ft skiff I had and compared to what else I've seen out there, it was head and shoulders above the norm (canvas and aluminum).

Karen did the curtains on my HS. Have had them for three years now. Very satisfied with them and they are holding up great. She was also priced competitively with everyone and cheaper than most. Would give a two thumbs up. Hope this helps.

They did a T-Top for me with curtains. I was pleased with the quality. They are busy and are not the best in communicating and holding to a schedule. I had the luxury of leaving the boat with them for 3 weeks, so it was not a big issue. Real nice people - I enjoyed visiting the shop and talking to them.

I would think this time of year they are doing alot of boat show stuff. So it might take a while. I dropped my boat off for curtians this time last year and they told me it would take 4 weeks and it too 4 weeks. I must say Karen did exactly what I asked her to do. I would suggest wherever you go try to do a drawing of what you want. Make a copy for yourself and who ever you take it to so you are both on the same sheet of music. She made my cutians exactly like the drawings I supplied her. If you dont give these places something to go by they will take the liberty of doing the work how they want which might not be exactly what you want from them. Remember they cannot read minds....... Good luck Mark

How much should a set of curtains run for a Contender 31?

For my 25s 5 piece curtian set and a lifevest bag she charged me $1300.00

Karen did the curtains on previous boat. I was pleased with the results.

At the time (2002), she did the work at my boat in MHC, as she frequently spent weekends there.

Had a T-Top built for my skiff a few years ago and was very happy with the quality of the construction and the welding of the top. I live about 5 hours away and scheduled to drop the boat off one weekend and went back the next to pick it up. All was completed and ready to go as soon as I pulled in the yard. I would highly recommend them again and would definitely use them if I had the need. Had the top built in '01 and the canvas has still held up well.

I'm headed out there this afternoon to talk with Karen to replace some zippers on my curtains. They've done work for me in the past and I've been pleased. I live in Wilson, be glad to help you out with anything you might need.

Now's probably a good time to get her, she told me last week she was running about 2-3 weeks out now. When early Spring hits she'll be swamped again.

Have you gotten your boat back yet and if so how was the workmanship and price???

I saw your parker at their house last weekend. Are they working from a shop at their house yet?? I know they were trying to get a shop built on their property when they did my curtians last winter.....Mark

The boat is ready, but I haven't picked it up yet...hopefully I can get there within the next 3 days...I'll post on the cover as soon as I get to see it.

I dropped the boat off at their house, but will be picking it up at the shop, I didn't see any signs of a shop at the house.

I got my boat back on Sunday and parked it for the winter...the cover that Karen made me is very nice. Fits perfectly, lots of stitching, lots of hold down rings, lots of reinforcement in friction spots etc...

I am a very happy customer. I'll post pictures when I can get back up there and take some....

;cool; Glad to hear that you're satisfied.
