Am installing a stereo system in a new 23' aluminum boat. I know better sound would come from 4 or 6 speakers but I just want to install 2. I will be using the Clarion cmd5 head unit, the Clarion 2 speaker amp and a pair of JL 650 speakers so I have plenty of clear power and good speakers. I also have the option to install them in the center console, on the sides or underneath the overhead electronics box, in a separate box which I could put over the leaning post, etc.
I know those of you out there with stereos have played with a lot of options. Which do you find gives the best sound?
