I am looking for a like new Scout 222 center console boat with a (under warranty) yamaha 4 stroke.
Will consider with or without trailer.
$$$ on hand, no finance hassles.

If you know a motivated dealer with one the info would be helpful.

The closer to SC the better.
Please pm me with any helpful info.

My first post. Thanks in advance for reading.

tprice,
thanks for your help.
I was helping my brother in law find a boat. he bought the one you linked. I just got back from driving Columbia-Jacksonville-Georgetown-Columbia in 24 hours. Next time if you could find one a little closer I would be grateful!

bluewaterpirate, park was 2nd runner up. good price but the t-top was not oem scout but a local made unit. that was a dealbreaker.

Thanks for the help.

That one in Jacksonville Beach was quite a find. I saw that ad for the first time Friday, sent it to someone at my marina in Beaufort who was looking for one about the time you guys were there to buy it. Beautiful boat with nice electronics for a fair price.

If by chance your brother-in-law doesn't want the wave gate / stern seat, I'm looking to add that option on mine. That was standard equipment on the Guy Harvey Edition.

I think I covered the same dealers you guys did between January-February when I bought mine. Nearly pulled trigger on an '06 at Lockwood Marine when my '05 suddenly appeared as a trade-in for a 30' Pursuit in Beaufort.

GregB,
the boat was exactly what they were looking for.
lots of nice options. great looking boat too. I really liked the powdercoated t-top.
they were very excited about it. it was worth all the time and effort.

about 6pm on friday they were placing it on the trailer. I had been working on the deal for a week or so. asking lots of questions, doing research and waiting on a survey. everything was under warranty and it was clearly in great shape. I just though it would be best to have it surveyed since I was spending my brother in laws money.

they are not interested in selling the stern seat. they need to keep it all together. I already told them I wanted it when upgrade time came.

the seller was great to work with.
