The Split Tails and Pink Snapper's are THICK down here right now. Practically jumpin' in the boat. Just be sure that they meet the minimum requirements of the state. ;)

Coming down to see Breaking Benjamin at the House of Blues tomorrow night. I am very familiar with the rules and regulations as provided by my handbook ;cool;

The HOB is usually a great place to troll if the reef donkey's and swordfish aren't too thick.

Much luck to ya'. Hope you get a nibble or three. :thumbsup:

Its all about technique. Even if they aren't biting you can coax them to by the right presentation. At this time in the year there are plenty of young ones running in schools along the beach and they will take just about any line, but you have to watch out. The other ones in the school some times see the flash of the line and will cut you off., so you have to use the appropriate leader length and strength attached to your main line. The heavier the leader the less bites but the more landed. The lighter the leader the more bites and more lost. You also got to think what kind of day are you after. Do you want to catch a ton of nibblers or spend all day for that once in a lifetime trophy? Its also good to go fishing with a buddy. That way if the reef donkey's are bad he can distract them while you reel yours in. Remember to practice catch and release, but if you find yourself hungry make sure you keep a good eating size one. And if you have alot of luck dont forget to bring back some for me and your pops.

Well, went to Yama's toes last night. Table full of Pink Snapper. Someone told the chef it was my birthday so I got to put on a show on that side of the restaurant. I went 4-6 in the shrimp tossing game. Let's see....saw the fireworks at Broadway at the beach, that was preety cool. Wound up back at the hotel. Met up with a few guys who were also there for the concert. As Jim Ross says, "Business picked up"

Jenny, Austin, Kris, and I jammed out to Breaking Benjamin and played circle of death. Jenny and I made good convo. She's at NC State so there are possibilities for that to become interesting.

I did something I've never done. I shotgunned a beer over a kid that was asleep...Good times

wooooo!!

Pics to come later :thumbsup:
