I figured you'd find this a nice catch. We caught this sailfish 07/07/07 while fishing in the Carolina Beach Got Em On tournament. He was caught at the 30/30 out of Carolina Beach. He struck a naked pogy/menhaden while slow trolling for kings & put on a great fight with several aerial displays. It was a great day for all of us aboard & everyone had a hand in catching him. After the catch we got some photos, then revived him for several minutes until he was able to swim away. This was our 1st Sailfish ever caught & it was worth the price of entering the tourney to be able to witness this 1st hand from strike to a successful release with photos on a day of 7-7-7. Though none of the Kings we caught were large enough to place in the money, it still was considered a successful day of fishing, including a lifetime experience to remember!

Real nice Sail, I caught my first SC sail last august fishing the Jungle off Little river SC. Didn't expect it as we were getting ready to head in after catching some kings and Phins. But it made our trip to see him tail walking just when we were bringing the lines in.~Jetty Jay~

Awesome pictures. I know how you feel about a single Sail making the day on an otherwise slow day. Good Job and congratulations  .

Scoutboat, I believe I've seen your boat here before...... I think we did electronics for you. That is a super fish you guys caught. Much better than a King in my book. Is that the 222SF?

Thanks for the congrats! Tadpole, I purchased it from your Durham store & then took the boat to you guys in Wilmington to put the airmar thru-hull xducer in for me. Couldn't bare cutting thru my hull, but I did get the electronics installed. Works Great! Thanks!
