I notice that some regional members have a picture in their thread. How do you attach a picture? I know it has something to do with the signature box. And If you upload a pic do you need to first resize it? ~Jetty Jay~

Jay,
The easiest way is to upload a picture to your photo album located here: http://www.thehulltruth.com/photos/photo-main.asp click on the box that says create and edit your album. Pictures must be less than 320kb total.

Once you have uploaded your picture(s), view the picture and right click on the image and select "properties" A box will open and you'll need to highlight and copy (right click on it and select "copy") the text next to the "address URL" line.
(you can triple left click on the URL info text and highlight it very quickly)

Go to your control panel in the signature line and type in then right click and paste your copied text directly behind the [img] tag.

Immediately after pasting your text, type in another image tag in brackets but with a backslash like this
[/img ] without the space

This stops the image tag. Make sure there are no spaces between anything or else it won't work. and you get the dreaded red X

Practice by using the preview button before submitting your post.

Here's an example but with (parentheses) rather than the brackets[ ]

here's what it looks like when I remove the parentheses and exchange for the square [brackets]

Well scott, I tried it and it said I needed Capt's status to creat an album. So, I signed up through paypal and it still wont let me do it. I figure it takes time to see that I joined the Capt's group. I might need to log out and log back in. ~Jetty Jay~

DOH!

Yeah, gotta be a member or use another photo service like photobucket or something. It takes a bit to activate as they do each one manually.

Being a member has it's benefits. Cost compared to what I've learned on THT, it's a great deal!

Yep, that's me sitting on the bow. Last august, just when I was ready to call it a day. I pulled my baits in and they still looked good. I told my buddies lets make one more pass......and BAM! That sail shot in the air on my long line. We had not expected it . We had some nice kings and phins earlier in the day. And that was a real pleasant surprise. ~JJ~

Agreed...I am a new member and will check this out.

Jetty Jay...had sails jumping in the baits last weekend at the Christina Ledge, cobia release, and picked up bait just out of Little River Inlet. I'll have to keep you posted as I get back down that way. Looks as if your sail came from the Jungle?
