I will be in Charleston for two weeks in early September and wish to fish. Is there offshore fishing in September, how about inshore or surf fishing. What could I catch, where do I start? Any help would be great. I really want to kill some East coast fish. Thanks, Ian

Come on guys and gals, fishing can't be that good in South Carolina that you are not willing to share a little info. I'm not looking for a free ride or anything I just want to stay away from my inlaws while I'm there. Two weeks is a long time there has to be some sort of salt water fishing in September.

www.charlestonfishing.com will give you all the info you need, and then some. Some of those guys can be hard on a newbie and DO NOT ASK WHERE THE GRILLAGE IS(it is a well know place for BIG reds in the summer and fall, it is written about al the time in magazines)
Not sure about offshore but the inshore fishing is great in the fall
