those that arent are on 11
Channel 6 is designated for intership safety. 11 is designated for commercial use. Channel 68, 69 is designated for non-commercial use, although many boaters do not follow the CG designations. http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/marcomms/vhf.htm
You will get many charter captains on 67-69 from S.C. on north through N.C. in this area.
I monitor and or scan all the channels noted above. 1 radio on channel 16 at all times, the other listening for the fishing reports. :)
