where are the best fireworks to watch from a boat somewhere on the coast first year here in NC and would like to see some fireworks. Thanks Ron Sergeant

Depends where you are. If you are around the Outer Banks the best place to watch them from a Boat is back around Roanoke Island Festival Park which is in Manteo.

Not sure if you are up this way thought!

I live in Oak Island and Southport always has a very nice fireworks show on the 4th.

I make a late dinner reservation at a restaurant with outdoor seating near the works, usually you can travel by water.

Thanks everyone My wife and I are probably going somewhere near Southport area, This is are first Time with out kids for about four years so we are just going out to have fun. Sounds like the fireworks are pretty good in Southport.

Oak Island is where I hold secondary residence and Southport waterfront is where I will be Wednesday night...on the boat in the ICW is the best place to watch them! They put on a great show.
