We can see the ones from the pier pretty good from my Dad's place. I don't know about your side of the ditch. It's about a 15-20 minute drive from your place but your more than welcome.

You probably can see the fireworks at Swansboro if they still have them on the waterfront. Don

The Bogue pier usually puts on a good show, great view from the pier, they set them off on the beach east side of pier

Hotspot,
I usually watch them in the waterway at Swansboro over the years they have got alot better. For me the best place is right around Dudleys marina so you dont get caught up in the boat traffic around the waterfront. Sometimes on the way back to Emerald isle you can see the ones there from the water.

Hotspot,
I'll be out there too. I plan on anchoring on the Swansboro side of the bridge and hope catch Emerald Isle and Swansboro. past 2 years we've anchored in the Turn Basin at Morehead and could see fireworks all around. New being on our end for July 4th.

Best way to view Southport fireworks is by boat. From Holden, cruise up the waterway, go under the oak island bridge. Find a channel off the waterway and anchor up, sit back and enjoy the view. One suggestion, after fireworks are over, wait 30 - 45 minutes for all the other boat traffic to clear out before heading back down.

SeaCat, What day are you coming down? Shoot me a e-mail with your schedule.
