What would you guys recomend for a slightly more than entry level radar for a 27' boat? I've been fishing offshore 30 to 40 miles for over 20 years, But never had radar before. A couple times fog has set in and I really wished I had it. Gonna do it in a month or so. So ,What do you guys think? Was thinking of furuno 1715. Do I need an additional smart heading sensor with this unit? The websight doesn't say. Thanks! or is there a better unit out there for not a whole lot more money? ;?
