I Have a navnet one furuno 7" unit that I use for Radar and Gps, I have a Older Sitex 106 unit for a fish finder. I cant stand the Gps on the furuno unit so I am looking to buy the new Garmin 4212. NOW should i buy the FF for the furuno unit , or just get everything for the new garmin unit. The sitex unit is about 10 yrs old and I know its gonna go anyday now. Thanks for your input.

I would have to say go with the garmin unit. It is a combination unit that has one of the most easy user interfaces out there. Electronic charts have come a long way in last couple of years also. The units you have were great in there day but for sharp images and reliability Garmin leads the way. Not to mention the friendly support staff.

I've always preferred the Garmin GPS and a Furuno/Raymarine FF.
