My AP 11 on my 2001 Grady was not working when I bought my boat several months ago. The problem was a bad linear feedback which I replaced. The unit works fine trolling but up on plane it overcorrects too much resulting in mini S turns. I found out later that the dealer did a master reset trying to fix the unit. I ran auto tune but the unit still overcorrects at speed. Is there a setting I can get to to slow down the rudder response. I have read the Manuel but could not find the sequence for adjusting the rudder response. ;?

Talk to a dealer or Simrad. On mine I changed the following paramters: RUDDER FR .14 TO .19
CRUDDER FR .69 TO .74. The problem of S turns at planing speed solved. Your values may differ, but you get the idea. Also, try re-reading the manual.

Gary, email or call me with your settings. There are high and low speed rudder values. Your HI should be around .20 for that boat.

On an AP-14 you would adjust the GAIN to correct the problem you described.

On an AP25, you wouldreduce the parameterRudder LO to fix that problem, assuming it occurs at speeds higher than 5 kts (if it occurs at speeds lower than 5 kts, you would reduce rudder HI)

Guys, he has an AP-11, not others with completely different software and parameters to adjust.
