FYI - This Friday, April 13 at 9:00 pm, “The Bubba Test” will be on CMT. This is the Triumph boat “tough test” spot where a 190 Bay Triumph, complete with motor, is dragged high speed on dry land behind a pickup truck (www.toughboats.com). When the spot first aired online, it made Yahoo The 9's top video picks and earned a feature article in The New York Times.

Buddy of mine was an engineer for a major boat company. They would randomly pull a boat out of the production line and "test" it the approx amount of use over a 5 year span....figuring on 50 hrs/hr for the recreational boater. Some of his stories had me crying I was laughing so hard. What sounded like a great job to drive the boat for the test time I quickly realized it was major punishment!
