Here is the new art for the boat. Since the hull is a very light seafoam green thought this might look good. It will be on each side near the back of the boat. Tell me what you think. The original Contender logo was removed before I bought the boat. ;cool;

That is nice Mark!

Maybe a little lighter line on the leader to the fish?

I like the way the fish tail wraps around the bottom of the "T" in Tina....that's sharp!

What would it look like to have the line thread through some of the boat name?

Very nice mark...

Maybe a darker contrast tho, like the tina louise almost black and the fish and line a real deep blue, it would complement the seafoam hull or vice versa. Semantics really....

How big? Original contender logo size or ska sized?

It will be The same size as the contender logo. Im not a Looking for something a little more conservitive. I was thinking about a dark edge around the Tina Louise. I tried wrapping the line around some of the letters but it looked a little confusing....Mark

Mark,

Better put Tina Louise in bigger letters than Contender so that you keep mamma happy. Otherwise you might have your kitchen pass revoked ;)

Hal, I dont mind putting her name on the boat since she never questions anything when it comes to boating and fishing. Lucky guy!! :grin: :grin: Mark :thumbsup:

On my Contender, I put the boat name on the transom door.

In part, I think a boat name belongs on the transom. Also, I figured if / when I decide to sell, someone could simply replace the transom door at minimal expense if they don't like the name.

When I look at used boats for a possible purchase, I don't care much for graphics on the side. When they're removed, the color underneath usually isn't the same as exposed surfaces. So you're stuck with a name you don't want, removing the name to see 2-tone colors, or removing the name and refinishing the surface.

That's simply my personal preference, and it doesn't mean that someone else's preference is any more or less valid.

That being said, I think your graphics are very tasteful. :thumbsup:

Looks good to me. :thumbsup: Contrasting colors with hull and decal will look good.
