We regrettably need to find a new home for our 1 year old Golden Retriever "Misty". She and our 8 year old Lab are just not getting along lately. Misty is a great dog and it broke my wife and kids hearts to see her go back to the breeder, but it was the best thing to do under the circumstances.
Misty would play with my kids for hours just following them wherever they would go. My son put her through the power rangers tests, the Sunday afternoon quarterback sack test and she would wag her tail for more playtime. She is house trained. She had no problems with just being let out and would bark to come back in.
Misty loved kids, other people, other dogs, but just wasn't hitting off with our Lab. The breeder is reselling her, but we would like the opportunity to see her go to a good home.
My wife is still too broken up to talk but PM me for contact info, and I would be willing to talk with anyone interested.

We once had a Golden puppy that we had to return to the breeder after just 3 weeks. Ours had a screw loose and was very aggresive and nasty. It was tough on the family, buy a few months later we got another Male Golden and its been great ever since.

We have a 6 year old Golden Retriever male. His name is Rudder. He is the best dog we have ever had. There is not a single bit of aggression in this dog. He loves every animal he comes across and is great company. I'm sorry you had to give yours up. I've always wanted another one to play with our guy, but the wife would kill me. We'll keep you in mind if we hear of anyone looking for one.

Although he would love another dog, he doesn't really have the time, not fair for the pooch or my bro. Sorry

maddie, I will check with my niece. She mentioned that she loves goldens and if she decided to take the dog it would be a very good home. Bob

Hello, my name is Shannon Goltry and I was inquiring about Misty. I have been looking for a 1-3 year old Golden Retriever for the past year and have been unsuccessful. My husband and I had a male who passed away when he was 18 and we have very much missed having another dog. If you could please email me and let me know if she is still available I would appreciate it.
Thank You!
Shannon

I would like to thank Maddie for a wonderful addition to our family. Misty has fit in wonderfully with our kids, cat , and my wife and I. While I know how tough it is to let her go, she has mad a huge impact on us already and she will be well cared for.
Thanks.
