Personally for me the best dives I have done are the Duane and the Bibb (rightafter they were sunk), Looe Key, American Reef, Thunderbolt and the Wilkes Barre...looking forward to diving the Spiegel in November....

Oh yea, then there was that hammerhead I ran into at Bahia Honda SP.....scared the crap out of me and the shark....

I believe thats Big Mo....I know there is one thats been there for years. Personally I always loved the Statute of Christ dive in the state park. The drug boat off Islamorada is cool too but at 130 or so its deep.

The Speigel Grove is the best dive in the Keys. Im looking forward to diving it again since it was turned upright by Hurricane Dennis last year.

I agree, The Speigel Grove is the best dive in the Keys. I have dove it 3 times now, last time was in June and it was amazing, tons of life, i am not a huge fan of deep dives but this one was great.. There are so many great reefs in key largo too....

Can you use a metal detector on those dives in the keys or they off limits?

Any idea about those metal detectors? I think I read that you may not remove anything if found is that correct?

I haven't dove The Speigel Grove yet but I loved Looe Key.
