Default Is Anglers Edge responsive to buyers

once listed with Bob, what should I expect from a responsiveness standpoint.

For example, if a buyer requests info from Boat trader, that requests goes to Anglers edge. How quickly do they respond to that buyer?
Thanks.

You will be the contact person, not Bob. He is in involved in getting it listed on multiple fronts and helping you with pictures/pricing and ad creation. You front the inquiries.

That is what I thought but it is not the case. If I look my listing up on Boat Trader Anglers edge is the contact. A requirement of their site and many others.

It was my experience that Bob sent me the inquiries via e-mail. Granted, I only received two or three if I recall, as my boat sold in 13 days, but I did receive e-mails from Bob on inquiries, and they were timely.

Seems like it would be real easy to find out.

Just call and inquire about one of the boats for sale and see how low it takes for an answer.

In your ad on boattrader you should have your name/phone number as a contact person. If they use the automated response on boattrader, that will go to the creator of the ad (bob). He was very quick to forward those when they came through.

If I remember correctly, he was the contact on some websites my boat was listed, and I was on others. I do remember getting direct inquiries from individuals and some forwarded to me from Bob.
In any event, listing with him is the most bang for your buck.

This is the correct answer...

Default Anglers

He will forward contact to you via email. He is very efficient, when I got my notification from Bob and call potential buyer, the buyer always said " I just called the number"

I think you will be pleased if you use anglers

Bob is extremely responsive. When i get ready to sell my boat, i wont list it anywhere else. Bob makes it too easy.

I was a buyer. None of my calls were returned. I called and left a message or so . Same with my fishing partner. We ended up buying a boat elsewhere. This happened in the last two to three months. I don't know Bob but only what I've heard. Must have slipped through the cracks on this one.

I think you mean (but may not know) the "seller" did not call you back. Bob doesn't return calls for listings. He forwards the voice mail to the sellers email. If the seller chooses to return the call, if the boat is still for sale, the seller will return the call.

Bob doesn't know jack about the boat other than what is written in the ad for it. (Unless it is his boat.)

I've sold, um I'm not sure, I think 4 or 5, 6 boats with AE and it works, but only because I respond rapidly to buyers.

Edit: I just did a google for my boat and it is off the AE site, (sold last weekend) but still on at least one other site, so if anyone calls me, I'm not returning the call on it, May respond via email.

As already said- Bob isn't calling buyers back. This is the job of the seller. I got lots of messages from him because his program works... I called the buyers back.

Maybe what you were after the seller decided to keep or sold before you got to it.

In this case Bob won't take the ads down if he doesn't know it sold.

Glad he was able to help other buyers and sellers. Listing was/is on boattrader with AE's phone and email as contact. Could be an old listing or no longer available but I think a return call or message would would have been a good idea. But as pointed out, Bob doesn't make the callback but relays messages to the seller to do so. Maybe next time when I decide to sell or buy again I'll give him a call.

As others have said, Bob forwards the calls/messages to the seller via email. I received the messages via email and then I responded to the inquiries. It is a very good system and Bob does a great job with it.

He listed 2 boats for me in the last 9 months and both sold through his ads.
