Tilt Problem With Johnson 225 - The Hull Truth

I'm in the process of storing my boat and when I went to tilt the motor up to put it on the support lever, it made a bit of a grinding noise and only went up a few inches. The tilt motor would run but the motor wouldn't budge. I put the batteries on a charger thinking that might be the problem but it didn't help. Any ideas? There's plenty of trim/tilt fluid in it.

TNT is always checked with the engine tilted all the way to the top. You can tilt it up by loosening the manual valve and lifting the engine up.

I tried to tilt it manually but the release screw is so corroded, it's frozen. Going to have to work on that.
