Default Yamaha outboart F60

2004 F60 has been a great motor. With the economy the way it is I am going to winterize it myself. Motor oil and lower unit oil no problem. How do you expose the carbs so I can fog them. I know I can take the plugs out to fog the cylinders but can't figure out how to take the air cleaner off. great motor but the owners manuel is quite useless. Does this motor even have an air filter and how do you get to it. thanks cmorjoel

There is no air cleaner element on this engine. Eight bolts hold the intake air silencer to the carbs. If you have problem removing the silencer, see your local dealer for help. Damage you cause by improper removal could be very expensive.
