Evinrude 200 Ocean Pro runs rough when,,, - The Hull Truth

I have a 1997 Evinrude 200 Ocean Pro runs rough when it has sat up for a month or so. After 2 or 3 minutes, it clears up. Once it has been ran, a week or 2 later it starts perfect. But if it sits for a couple of months, it runs rough for 2 or 3 minutes then clears up. Fuel pump getting weak ? I tried pumping the bulb, did not help. Is this just a Evinrude thing ?

I think what you are experiancing is Quick Start. When engine temp is below 100 degrees the timing is advanced for better starting and to keep the engine running without raising the warm up lever. After the temp is above 100 the timing goes back to normal. The advanced timing causes the engine to run rough.
