Default Merc 150 Bluewater series

I have twin Merc 150's "2-stroke, carburated"

Have been plagued with trouble out of one engine.
It runs fine in idle and out of gear up to 5K or more, put it in gear under load and it bogs down, feather it up slightly behind the other motor and it will "catch" and take off strong"

Anti siphoning valves have been replaced, water seperators been replaced, engine filter replaced, carburators cleaned. And every time something is done the problem seems to go away for a day or two.

This problem has ultimately caused my boat to overturn once already and I really need to figure this out.

Any tips?

P.S. I am a Rookie so elaboration is appreciated.

Tightened all the fuel lines today, and I never found anything that made me think "This is it!!"

However after a test run all is well, only time will tell if it is fixed as the problem seems to come and go.

Most Mercury techs will rebuild the fuel pumps when the carbs are rebuilt. Could be the problem.
