Your owners manual indicates two or three things that cause an alarm. Overheat, low oil, and low water pressure if the optional sensor is installed. You did not say if the engine goes into RPM reduction. The problem can be pinpointed by disconnecting the overheat and oil sensors and seeing what happens to the alarm. A short to ground in the wiring harness wires connected to the alarm circuit could also cause the alarm to sound.
