200 DT Suzuki - The Hull Truth

I have a 2000 200DT Suzuki that starts on the hose, ramp (1st of the day) perfectly. Runs for up to an hour or more just fine, and then after fishing will not restart until I spray it with starting fluid. Restarts and then runs until I shut it down. Will not restart until I spray it with starting fluid.

I have replaced the fuel pumps, thermostats, hoses, installed a water separator, fuel is clean, new plugs. At the end of the day I check the plugs and they are ugly, with lots of oil residue.

Any thoughts?

Check your fuel system, especially the filters, fuel pressure and vacuum. It sounds like the problem may be in this area.
