A-1 hpdi drops rpms - The Hull Truth

my 2001 150 hpdi drops rpms at idle in neutral, sounds like its droping rpms almost sounds like its stalling, when shut off and restart it it sounds right then it drops rpms, is it due to e10, runs fine otherwise. this is my 2nd post on issue, you replied hpdi drops 2 cylinders in neutral, to my knowledge it did not sound like this before. thanks actionc

You may need to clean your oxygen sensor. The engine computer will maintain the RPM when things are working normally. Your dealers computer can check to see if the electrical system is operating normally. It will not show a problem with a dirty oxygen sensor.

02sensor was cleaned, and will do so again, I ran ring free in all 450 hrs. and stabil marine for e10. thanks actionc 1820 flatsmaster
