I hadn't been to the boat in a couple of weeks. The bottle on the motor that holds the 2 cycle oil is about 1/2 empty and there is oil running down the engine.

There is a pool of oil under the injector pump and some oil all over the inside of the bottom cowling but I see no oil running down any part of the engine or any of the hoses around the tank.

Is there an obvious probable culprit where I should start rather than just taking stuff off randomly?

I had a similar issue with a HPDI, but my reservoir was 1/2 full- it ended up being the small sight tube to check for water at the bottom of the tank. It is just put on there with a tie wrap and it was real loose. Have no idea if this helps
