Default 02 optimax question
I have twins 02 200 hp optimax engines the port engin when starting cranks once then stall then when recranking the rpms run up to 5000 then rightback down and idles noormally any suggestions? clogged filter or injector sensor?? any help is appreciated

You didnt mention how the engine runs once it is started. If it runs OK after its started you probably dont have a restriction. This is something that a good Mercury tech with the latest test equipment should be quickly be able to diagnose.

A-1 thanks for the reply motor runs fine after it settles back down no issues at all.
