2000 FICHT 225 no gauges - The Hull Truth

Was out this evening, boat started and running fine.

5 mins out noticed the gauges, rpm, volts, etc., not functioning. Continued out. 45 mins after running, hit a no wake zone slowed for it and the engine sputtered and stalled. Upon re-start all gauges worked properly.

Ran home 1 hr plus at speed and then the no wake in my harbor with no problems. BTW it was night on the way back in with running lights, inside lights and the spot on occassionally so there was alot of battery draw on the way back with no issues.

Is something about to go or is there a bad connection somewhere?

Sounds like aloose intermittentconnection or corrosion somewhere in the red or purple key switch wiring circuits, fuse, or switch itself. Don't overlook a bad or loose ground wire behind the dash.
