My boat has twin 2002 250 ox66 engines. One of the seals is leaking. I took it to a friend who runs a yard and he said they are not Seastar cylinders. I have no idea what kind they are but the one does not look re-buildable as there is no end cap to get at the seal.

Suggestions?

There were several makes of hydraulic steering cylinders over the years and yours must be one of the older ones. Teleflex SeaStar bought out Morse and Hynautics and parts may be still available through them. I'm guessing that you might have the Hynautic system so here is a link that may help you, if not, just contact Teleflex directly to see if they can help.
