ficht 175 hp 1999 model Oil Pump

Dear friend,

My engine has been running well since we have changed the ECU to a new one. Nevertheless I see that the oil pump is not working well and for this reason we are mixing 2 Stroke Oil with the petrol for the engine running. We are using 1/50 ratio. Is that OK for the mean time?

NO!!!! Do not mix the oil in a Direct Injected FICHT motor. It does not go through the crankcase like a traditional 2-stroke outboard motor, and the pistons, bearings, and crankshaft will not "see" any of the mixed oil.

If you are having oil pump problems, DO NOT run the motor until it is fixed.

Does the NO OIL light come on and the engine slow down to about 2500 rpm?

the sign do not come. I think still pumps a bit of oil but not the way it should because consumption is minimum.
