Re: Warning alarm merc 225 opti Just like today's cars, a laptop or a hand held scanner type instrument is needed to find out what error codes are stored in the engine computer. It would be best to have a trained mechanic do a quick diagnostic of the systems to see what is triggering the warnings.
Often erroneous signals are shown because of incorrectly adjusted throttle cables, loose or corroded battery connections (no wing nuts, regular nuts and lockwashers only), or the use of too small capacity batteries. Use a 1000MCA as a minimum.
