How ofter do you recommend changing the internal zincs on my 225 four stroke and where are they?

Yamaha recommends inspection/replacement of internal zinc anodes once a year or every 200 hours, whichever comes first. It is 100 hours for the zinc trim tab and the external zinc under the transom brackets.

I believe there are 4 internal zinc anodes that you can reach and are located between the sparkplugs in the head, 2 on each bank.
