I/O To outboard convertion - The Hull Truth

Hi I am looking at buying a 28' stamas with i/os. The boat sunk at the dock and needs new engines.the boat is in great shape. Its a 1989. Iwas thinking if i buy the boat I would need to buy an aftermarket bracket would 225 or 250s be the better bet. Also do you know of any after market companys that sell the outboard brackets. Thanks for any info.
