Default Yamaha 115 4 stroke 2002 problem

I hope someone can help me with this, I have a 2002 yamaha 115 4 stroke and this week i was running and I hit a piece of wood not hard but i felt it hit. The engine looks fine and runs great but now at low idle it is shaking and vibrating the boat, I checked the prop and it appears perfect?? I assumed I bent it or something. Can anyone help me with this? It runs fine and seems fine except the boat is vibrating at low power and I can only assume it was from the hit? It is on an 18 foot Mckee craft center consol.

You bent your prop. Take it to a prop shop. They can make it better than new for a nominal fee.

Paul,
Thank you for replying, I will take it to a shop to get fixed. This is my first boat and it appeared the prop was still in good shape i guess even a little bend gets it unbalanced.

Have a qualified mechanic check the runout of the propshaft to make sure that is not bent and damaging your gears. A good propshop will check out the blade pitch as see if anything is out of whack. Also check the oil and the gearcase magnetic drain plug for any metal chips.
