replaced stator . starts fine but at 1500prm starts to surge and will die at 2000 rpm. But if pushed to wot
it only has a very small surge problem. All electronics checks out ok. Voltage does not drop at 2000 it just dies
KV'S are 6 and 7 on all cyls. What I don't understand is the fuel pump pressure is 9pds at start and the same
at 4000 rpm. I have cleaned carbs in ultrasonic cleaner and blew them out all fuel and air vents are open.
I have used ohm meter and dva and everything checks out except that fuel pump. Thanks Phill
Phil Surging is almost always related to fuel starvation .It could be the float height(should be level upside down) fuel pump needs rebuilt or a vacuum leak, leaky intake gasket or a tank problem...Mike
