I have 2x Johnson 140v4s 1989-90 which have both sufferd from somebody leaving the barrels exposed to the elements. Does any body know where I can get a couple of used heads with pistons without paying thousands of dollars for them.
I know that rebuild kits are availble but Im not so confident and a rebuild is not a beginners job. It may be that im better of just selling whats left for spares .. the two drives and hangers , gearboxes, props ,controls ,hoods etc any thoughts?people Its just seems a shame to junk stuff . when they could make 2 good engines. mainly they are in
n very good condition with little corrosion elswhere.
