The 115 is the tried and proven 60 degree design that has been around since 1991. Since its introduction in '95 has a 90-115 V-4, the motor has enjoyed a great reputation for durability and for low end torque.

Since it is 7 years old and has sat around more than been used, have a qualified professional check it over completely and run it if possible. There is a likelyhood that stale fuel deposits from lack of use and proper "pickling" may be in the carbs, vapor tank, and recirculation valves. The calender affects more motors than thousands of hours of use.

Good luck, and enjoy

Mr. Bee
