A! I guess that is a live with answer. I am assuming that this is design flaw rather than problem specific to my motor. Sure seems odd that with all EPA regs and cleaning up exhaust that there is this blow back mist that just runs into water. Do I maybe have too much blow back mist??? Anything that would cause more or less mist???

Well all six injectors are off to DFI for rebuild as rust was found in the first two. Man this is killing me. I wonder if the problem is the fuel we are getting these days. I have two water seperators one is a racor with s3213 elemant ( 10 micron) and then there is the one on the motor ( not sure of its specs) I will end end with rebuilt fuel system to include new vapor seperator and all rebuilt injectors. My question is 1) do I need to be concerned with lift pamp also and 2 )how do I prevent this going forward
Onca again appreciate the dialogue and the help that is here

You may have gotten bad fuel at one time or another, or excess alcohol settled out with any absorbed water and caused the rusting. Use Evinrude 2+4 Fuel Conditioner for a few tanks and that may take care of any residual water in the system.
