Default 99 Johnson 150's trim motors

Ive got a pair of 150 Ocean runners and I was just looking them over and the trim motors are a rusty mess. They both still operate just fine but it wont be long before the cans start leaking and then....well you know. Is there any way to seal these cases, or can I replace just the motor cans? Whats a good fix?

Once the housings start to rust, there is nothing to stop it. The good news is that with sealing them with a waxy spray such as CRC Corrosion Inhibitor will extend their life. I've seen super rusty motors last for over 5 years and still work fine. The newer style motors have a plastic case over then to eliminate the unsightly rust.
