2001 Yamaha 6HP 4 Stroke

Just picked up this motor from my grandfather, I wanted to know whether it has battery charging capabilities, I see that it has an altenator while looking at online specs:

Yamaha F6MSHZ

Serial 002859

If so , I need the Yamaha part number to get the cables, etc to make this charge batteries
