yamaha 200ox66 impeller - The Hull Truth

how often are you guys changing the impellers on a yamaha 200 ox66....i have 300hrs on mine and was thinking it should be time to change it...thanks

Yamaha reccommends every 2 years. You need to look at the water conditions to see if it should be changed more often. If the water is abrasive-muddy or dirty it should be changed more often. I would not take a chance running any longer than 2 years. Be sure to use a quality pump, some ofthe aftermarket impellers have been know to spin the hub.
